I was back in Hospital to have an MRI. They injected some fluid into my shoulder to enhance the detail. Its quite amazing to see. First, they apply the local anesthetic. Then comes a pretty big needle to inject this fluid to take some x-rays. Its amazing to see the image of this white fluid in my shoulder as well as that big needle in the x-ray machine! Its not a good feeling to see its my own body!!
The result from the test was that I managed to sever part of the tendon and the area has become inflamed. They gave me an injection to reduce it. They say I don't have to have any surgery at this time - which is very good news. They say it takes 2 or 3 more days and just make sure to rest. After that, it should be fine. I hope I can get back to next week's tournament (Safeway International).
For now, I have to strengthen the tendon area and make sure I don't overdo it! This is a short report of my condition. I better think of quality not quantity when it comes to practice.
