I flew from West coast of the United States to the East Coast. I am in Atlanta for Florida's Natural Championship. I remember that before the condition was very wet and the rough very deep but due to very little rain this season, it is totally different conditions here at Eagle Landing. It is more like Las Vegas last week! Usually, we have to make sure we don't miss the fairway and green but this year, its better to just hit long. I found this during my practice round with Karin Sjodin from Sweden. She is a rookie for this season but she can hit her ball long! On par 5 holes, she can use irons to reach greens and for those par 4, she managed to hit right next to the green on her tee shots twice! On the short holes, her clubs choices differ by 3 to mine. I was hitting hard with my 5 iron but she managed to do it on 8! She is the longest hitter and she averages 300 yards from her driver! I was lost for words and felt my age. So I am afraid that this course may not be good for my playing style. Anyhow, I just have to do my best but my shoulder is not 100% to hit the ball hard. I will try to use my mental strength to tackle this tournament. I will start tomorrow afternoon.
