It will soon be 3 weeks since my operation. I am recovering slowly but surely. Still using ice packs but I can now lift and hold light weights. I could only open drink bottles with my right hand but I can now use my left hand to hold and twist the top with right hand ( which most people do but I could not do such simple task for 3 weeks). I hesitate to open the fridge so am just using my right hand. I am also reaching everything with the right hand. My movement is better now but I can not raise it fully. It is still limited. I am happy that its much easier to wash my hair now. Yesterday, I was watching U.S. Women's Open on TV while I did some putting with my right hand only. Next year the Open will be played in Pine Needles where I competed first in 97. I like Open's course setting ( but never made the cut yet!) so I would like to try it again.
