My score today was pretty much the same as it always is, but overall it felt positive because I had some good shots that I hadn’t been able to make recently.
On the other hand, I didn’t do too well with the putter. I had about 5 chances to make a birdie at 3 or 4 meters out and only managed to sink one. Then there were the 3 times I missed a 1 meter shot for par, talk about horrible. (6 over for a score of 77) I switched putters after the round was over and practiced for 2 hours. Hopefully that’ll show when I play tomorrow.
Even so, I felt that if my putting today had been the same as it usually is, I would have been able to go under par, and was quite happy about that. It’s the first time anything like that has happened this year! I’ll get even tomorrow!
