San Diego is a disaster. I called a friend because I was worried about people’s homes and the town, and apparently evacuations have been recommended in a number of areas, and of course golf courses and stores are all closed. All this rain in Tokyo today, I wish we could send half to SD and half to LA. I hope the fires die out soon.
As for me, I played in the Japanese Masters GC for the first time in two years last week.
My game in the unrelenting rain on the first day was ok, on the second day my shots were wimpy and I didn’t pass the qualifier. My balance in my upper and lower body was off, affecting my swing, and I’m focusing practice this week on fixing it. Q-school in Japan is next week. I’ve got to be aggressive in order to be able to continue playing next year.
