I've got to make it to write just my feelings about what has been going on each day!! "Private Diary": I do not know why, but I feel a little uneasy about until when it will last. Riko Higashio

I finally passed the qualifier. Last tournament of the year. I have a lot of memories about the Elleair Ladies Open, and this time was able to make another good one. Sunday (11/18) was my birthday. The best present I could give myself was playing yesterday in the final round. Even though I was going OB on the first day, I played relatively well compared to how I’ve been doing lately, and broke even.
On the second day my shots started to go a little off. I couldn’t sink my putts, and at the end of 10 holes I was 3 over. I had figured the cutoff for the qualifier was going to be 2 or 3, and needed to suck it up for the rest of the round. Even when missing shots I kept it close and got them in, finally getting a try for a birdie on 16. I was really nervous taking a slice shot from 2 meters away, but I put it in, bringing me back down to two over and just getting me through the qualifier.
I went into the round on Sunday, my birthday, looking to go under par. The strong wind made both my shots and putts ineffective. It was still a good week though.
Next I’ll be leaving for Q school in the US. I know it’s going to be tough considering my current level. Still, I’ll keep my head held high and go there with determination and concentration. I hope everyone stays behind me for the last challenge of the year!
