My best wasn’t good enough at Q school. I wanted to go under par just one day, and kept at it the entire time. But mentality and technique are two different things.

I’m not happy about it, but dwelling on it won’t change things. On the other hand, I think my shot has drastically improved. Over the winter break I’m going to put this behind me and keep practicing. (with my results, that’s a given)

I was uneasy using my driver before, and now my aim and swing are getting more relaxed. Same goes with my approach, I’m getting bolder where I used to be afraid of it. There was nothing good about this year. Someday, though, I’ll be able look back on 2007 and say “I am who I am today because of that lousy year”. In order to get to that point, I have to put in my time on the course.

Although it has been a year of high expectations ending in disappointment, it has been great to have so much warm support from all you fans. Thank you so much. This is NOT the end of Riko Higashio! I’ll be back for more.
