I've got to make it to write just my feelings about what has been going on each day!! "Private Diary": I do not know why, but I feel a little uneasy about until when it will last. Riko Higashio

I’m making a day trip to Kashiwa City in Chiba Prefecture today for an event at a golf shop called Arigaen. Riding the bullet train right now. I recently got a mobile phone with a proper keyboard on it, so I thought I’d work on the blog a little bit.
What have I been up to lately? Well, the left side of my back has hurt for about 3 weeks now. It seems to be getting better, but I can’t hit the ball very hard yet. I went to see the doctor, and am going to do whatever it takes – acupuncture, ultrasound, electrotherapy, cold/hot packs, hot tub/spa, therapeutic massage, etc. – to get back in tip-top condition.
How lucky I am to just be able to play golf and practice, the issue of back pain aside, is something that has been occupying my thoughts a great deal these days. It might sound like something an old person would say, but it’s true. I really think so every day. Taking care of oneself, being careful to avoid injury or illness is more important than anything. Even so, we all end up overdoing it or falling ill at times. When that happens to you, be sure to have the courage to take time off and make recovery your first priority!
That said, my next competition, CRYSTAL GEYSER Ladies Golf, is going to be during Golden Week (a series of national holidays at the end of April and beginning of May). It’s a little bit of a tough schedule, but I want to get better by then and somehow be ready in time.

(below) Enjoying a meal at “The Osamu”, a favorite Korean barbecue restaurant of mine, to make the most out of a few-and-far-between Tokyo dining experience! The food is sooo good! Mango for dessert! I’m catching the last flight back to Kobe.
